Design Detail

Here at Hozell we strive to make unique shirts in small batches, with limited production and distribution.  With an eye to boutique fashion, we design each garment to capture style and individuality.  Comfortable, casual and versatile, our clothes can be worn a little rough around the edges, or prepped up pretty good.  Some days we like to look a little sloppy, other days more put together.  Made locally in California, each garment is individually finished with a one-off label, meaning that no two garments are exactly alike.  We like to think our clothes are special. 

Since the beginning, our focus has been on the quality and consistency of construction and fit in each of our products. To this day, our owners personally oversee every step of development and production to insure that we only put out the best quality garments for you to wear. Starting with the best soft-hand fabrics, and finishing with custom washes, every article of clothing we make is destined for ultimate comfort and wearability before the first stitch is even sewn.  Throw in our distinctive design details and personal touches, and we have high hopes of each Hozell item you get being one of your favorites in the closet.  A few of our design details:

Contrast green stitch on shoulders on most t-shirts.

Hand cut and screenprinted care labels and neck labels on polos

Tonal contrast pockets and back yokes.

End result – the softest, most comfortable, best fitting shirts imaginable, 100% made in southern California.

Honestly, we are told all the time that our clothes should be much more expensive.  With the attention to detail that our clothes reflect, the quality of our fabrics and construction, the fact that we make our clothes locally, and the other brands that we hang next to… this notion makes sense.  We could jack up our margins and our prices just like everyone else, but we’re different.  We want Hozell products  to be as accessible as possible, so you can put a few more in your closet each season and be kept in good clothing.  We do what we can to keep our prices as low as possible, but if you can’t quite stretch to get all the styles you want right now check out our socialist program to make a case as to why you deserve a little discount from Hozell.

Fit

Our clothes are slim fit.  Every garment is completely pre-shrunk, but over time and lots of washes they will shrink up a little bit more in the length.
